Our philosophy is to try, where possible, to source produce that ticks one of the following ‘boxes’.

In many circumstances we achieve more than one tick!
Even Nigel our window cleaner is local and he assures us he’s organic!

Being locals ourselves, we feel that we are bringing something to the area that was missing. A place where freshness is served daily and quality is the standard.

By supporting our local traders, growers and farmers we can not only give you excellent freshness and quality, but we are helping Derbyshire foods develop a following throughout the UK.

We have a fantastic range of up to 50 cheeses, awesome olives, charcuterie, and great bread from our local bakery - best of all, if you can’t decide what to take away, you can relax on our luxury Italian leather sofa and graze with us. You can order a cappuccino and a cake or take lunch from our menu of handmade sandwiches, panninis or fresh salads. If you want a bit of everything we can even do you an assorted deli platter of your choice!

Furthermore, if you’re feeling like a health boost or need to shake off the night before, then one of our immune-boosting juices or vitamin-filled smoothies could be just the ticket! Browse our healthy choice of sandwiches and savouries created by Jess, our resident former fitness instructor!

We always have things to taste and smell, like our estate-made olive oil. If you can’t decide which cheese or olives to buy, ask one of our staff for a sample taster, assuming we haven’t got them out to taste already to help make up your mind………..failing that get both!!!
